We had a great victory in the California this week.
Diane Feinstein, who we were worried would cave to the interests of the insurance companies signed a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid asking that the final bill to be voted on by the full Senate contain a public option.
This was our hard work and efforts paying off. The letters, the phone calls, the office visits… They all sent the clear message that the people of California want a strong health care reform bill that represents our interests and not the interests of insurance companies.
Now let’s call Senator Feinstein and tell her how happy we are for her support!
